Babs Critters

Besides the chickens, I have two dogs and a serial killer cat (photo is on the way). Why is Ash the cat a serial killer? Well, he’s been keeping the house and yard vermin-free for 3 years. Which is awesome! Field mice are a bit problematic for us.

Mala with her summer haircut.

This is Mala. She’s an older girl, and seems to be developing cataracts. Nice with people she knows, fierce with those she doesn’t. Mala definitely has “little dog” syndrome. She is,however, a great cuddler. Mala is 1/2 chihuahua and 1/2 chinese crested. She grows very long hair, so I bring her to a groomer who is great with little nervous dogs. I highly recommend Lisa Sweet to anyone who needs a groomer.

The dog below is Snoop. He’s a rescue and I think he’s 1/2 beagle and 1/2 corgie. Long, gangly legs and fat thighs. You can’t tell in this photo, but he is an odd-shaped boy. He is also the sweetest thing I’ve ever seen. Incredibly safe and gentle around little babies and anyone who is fragile. He is all about the love. He’s also an escape artist who has to be on a dog run in his fenced in back yard. Sigh! I hate that but can’t have him roaming the neighborhood.

I will be posting a photo of mama’s little serial killer when I’m able.

UPDATE:  Below is the best I could get of serial killer at the moment. UPDATE 2: Better photo of Ash the serial killer. Check out how is eyes match the grass.

Oh, and he has a serious bromance with Snoop.

The bromance boys. Usually they’re all lickey-face, but this is a rare quiet moment. It must have been raining.

Ash the serial killer, keeping my home vermin free since 2009!
